Kayla is an artist. She has been preparing this show for you for a long time. She really really really really hopes it's perfect and beautiful and that you love it (and her) so much!!!!! Her debut clown show BAFFLING! was selected as one of the 10 Best of Fest performances at Frontera Fest 2025.
Kayla Lane Freeman is a comedy writer filmmaker and performer in Austin. Her first short film The NDE played festivals around the globe and was included in the 2023 Best of the Year comedy block for the Austin Short Film Showcase. She received production grants from Austin Film Society in 2023 and 2024 for her horror comedy Plant Moms currently in post-production. In 2024 she was a part of the B. Iden Payne award-winning improv ensemble Sextet. Her debut clown show BAFFLING! was selected as one of the 10 Best of Fest performances at Frontera Fest 2025. Before moving home to Austin in 2021 she studied and performed comedy at The Annoyance Theater and ImprovOlympic in Chicago."

ColdTowne Theater is located at 1700 East 2nd St. about a mile east of IH35 and one block north of Cesar Chavez St. We are no longer located on Airport Blvd. Check your destination before heading out, especially if you are using a rideshare like Uber or Lyft.
We provide free parking, and street parking nearby is free after our lot is full. We recommend arriving at the venue 20-30 minutes before the advertised showtime to enjoy our bar! (ColdTowne is not BYOB).
