Dubai's Ali Al Sayed has been writing, performing, and producing comedy since 2008. Known for his quick wit and rapport with audiences, he has headlined Caroline's on Broadway, the New York Arab American Comedy Festival, and Edinburgh Fringe, performing alongside Bassem Youssef, Russell Peters, and Steve Harvey.

He’s been featured on PBS, CBS, and BBC World, named one of Rolling Stone’s "Funniest People of the Year," and can be seen on Comedy Central’s Ridiculousness and Shahid MBC’s Stand-up Sketch Show. Esquire Magazine awarded him "Comedian of the Year," and Fast Company named him one of the "Most Creative People in Business" in 2024.

As co-founder of Dubomedy, Ali and his wife Mina launched the first comedy school in the region, paving the way for new talent. His U.S. comedy tour begins January 2025, with stops in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and more, continuing worldwide through summer 2025.

ColdTowne Theater is located at 1700 East 2nd St. about a mile east of IH35 and one block north of Cesar Chavez St. We are no longer located on Airport Blvd. Check your destination before heading out, especially if you are using a rideshare like Uber or Lyft. 

We provide free parking, and street parking nearby is free after our lot is full. We recommend arriving at the venue 20-30 minutes before the advertised showtime to enjoy our bar! (ColdTowne is not BYOB).
