Students in level 3 will cultivate group cohesion so they can tap into the improv magic of “group mind.” In level 3, students continue to strengthen character and scene work with an emphasis on performing sets that connect scenes into broader themes and motifs. Students will begin to hone their innate comedic voice as they reconnect with their instincts and tune in to their classmates. SUNNY HUANG is a seasoned actor and performer who’s been improvising for over 10 years. She graduated from the renowned Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles, where she was a member of the house team Bordeaux. Sunny’s improv teams have been selected for and performed at the Del Close Marathon, SF Sketch Fest, Out of Bounds, Last Best Comedy Fest, and recently headlined the Lysistrata Comedy Festival. Currently, you can catch her making audiences laugh with her various teams Come@Me (Saturdays, Fallout Theater) and Y’all We Asian, which has won Austin Chronicle’s “Best Of Austin” and B.Iden Payne awards (first Fridays of the month, Fallout Theater).
